Gather your friends, family, and colleagues for a wonderful day supporting the Imerman Angels mission! The larger the group and the more fundraising you do as a team, the better the experience! We encourage friendly competition among our teams to see who can gather the most people and who can fundraise the most money to support our free one-on-one cancer support services.
The Imerman Angels Brunch Run 5K & Walk is a fantastic event you'll want to share with your friends, family and colleagues. Although we're unable to gather in person this year, we encourage you to build a team and participate together, either virtually or in a small group. Click here for options on how to gather your team for the event.
The First Place Fundraising Team will receive:
- Verbal recognition in pre-race kickoff
- Social media recognition
- If you’re located in Chicago, we’ll deliver prosecco to your home for you to enjoy in your brunch mimosas; if you’re located elsewhere in the country, you’ll receive a $50 gift card to your local grocery store for prosecco/brunch supplies
- Exclusive shout out video from our Co-Founder Jonny Imerman
The Largest Team will receive:
- Verbal recognition in pre-race kickoff
- Social media recognition
- Exclusive thank you shout out from our Executive Director Stephanie Lieber
Note: All funds must be received by Imerman Angels by Friday, August 21 at 5 pm.

- Create a team or join an existing team
- If you’re creating a new team, select “Create New” in the dropdown menu and enter your team name; you will now be the team captain
- If joining an existing team, type the team name in the text bar and select the team from the dropdown menu; you are now a member of that team
- Finish filling out the registration form
- Review your information and complete registration
Time to get creative! When creating your team, try to come up with the most clever team name and you could WIN! We'll post the best team names on our Facebook page, and whoever gets the most votes will be recognized during our pre-race kickoff. Make your team stand out with a fun, clever name!
